How long is each course?

Courses are divided into lessons that take a total of 40 minutes to a little over 1 hour per course.

Should I do an entire training at once with my team or an individual?

The MANAGEtoWIN Leadership Essentials Academy challenges existing behaviors and deeply held habits. We suggest you work with your team to train, discuss, roleplay, and pilot new behaviors based on 1-2 sections of a course at a time. Deeper training to develop new habits is more effective over time than speeding through the material. View the material in advance of group training to gather real situations that have occurred in your organization to discuss.

Do we get any future updates?

Parts of The MANAGEtoWIN Leadership Essentials Academy courses are updated monthly.

Are there any limits to how many people can use these courses?

Your subscription is a license limiting the number of people who can view and complete exams per channel, such as Dave’s Charm School. Courses can be viewed and exams taken up to the number of people included in your subscription. Courses are not for public presentation outside of your company or for unlimited internal use by your organization. Distributing the files or any links outside of your company and/or with people outside of your company violates your license and damages will be sought by our legal team.

May I host the courses on my servers instead of bother managing multiple logins?

No. We only offer channels of the MANAGEtoWIN Leadership Essentials Academy on a monthly subscription in the cloud.

Are these courses written specifically for I.T. / managed service providers?

Yes. Course materials and examples are related to real-life scenarios of our Clients. We are planning a subsequent release for general business customers, such as the companies you serve, along with a referral program to reward your company when your customers subscribe.

What if we disagree with what is taught?

We are not aware of any instance where an I.T. / managed services provider has totally disagreed with anything in the MANAGEtoWIN Leadership Essentials Academy. We do encourage you to personalize each key training points by discussing real service tickets and typical scenarios that have occurred in your organization. We thinks it is fine if you want your people to do things slightly differently. Even in those situations Dave’s Charm School remains a great tool to have those discussions of how your organization is unique. (We welcome any feedback too, so please send your thoughts along.)

How do we judge the ROI of the MANAGEtoWIN Leadership Essentials Academy?

The MANAGEtoWIN Leadership Essentials Academy teaches systems that affect soft skills, habits, thought processes, behaviors, and motivations of people in business environments. Often these crucial skills are not directly related to revenue, costs, and profits, but hugely impact your financial results nonetheless.

For instance, we recently read a lament of an executive recruiter who had a brilliant candidate who was unplaceable because he was no one wanted to work with him. Even though brilliant, it was too costly to deal with his lack of soft skills.

Here is how to consider the ROI of the MANAGEtoWIN Leadership Essentials Academy, using the Dave’s Charm School channel as an example:

#1 – Divide the cost of Dave’s Charm School by 14, which gives you a cost per course. Divide that number by the number of employees you have in your firm. That gives you a cost per employee.
